Containers Direct have come up with the ultimate, on-site solution to secure tool storage, our Hercules 667 tool vault, designed to deter even the most determined of thieves. With multiple security features you can leave your work at the end of the day safe in the knowledge that your valuable equipment is secure.

These heavy duty steel storage containers are big enough to walk in to and to house a whole range of tools and specialist equipment. They also provide a secure alternative to the traditional wooden, garden shed, for those seeking to store tools at home, for either work or hobbies. At 6ft x 6ft x 7ft they are neat enough to fit into even the smallest of spaces, but make up for size in strength. We are confident that this tool vault cannot be beaten on quality and security!

What goes into the making of the Hercules tool vault

This is an extra strong, steel construction, manufactured from reinforced 3mm thick steel plate (that's stronger than a shipping container!) and a box section frame. The tool box is reinforced with additional box section welded on to each side at 2ft intervals. The floor is also 3mm steel plate welded onto box section bearers. Built like a tank, we then fit a triple locking system on the doors.

  1.     Locking bar with Customs catch for attaching a padlock

  2.     6mm steel lock box - designed to use with the Block Lock 2000 padlock

  3.     ERA Mortice Lock with 20mm bolt - certified to BS3621:2007, as recommended by insurance companies and police
Further security measures include a full height anti-jemmy bar welded to the door post and a barrel key protector with 4mm escutcheon plate.
