10ft LINED CONTAINERS

Choosing to have your 10ft container lined can be a wise decision if you are storing goods that may be damaged easily by condensation, or they need to be protected from extremes of temperature. Whether you choose a plywood or melamine lining, your container will be packed with insulating material, and the combination will ensure you have:

All options include 100mm rockwool insulation, and we can either line the doors too, or leave them unlined.

9mm redwood - for an attractive finish

12mm redwood - for a thicker attractive finish

How we line containers

Ply

Using your chosen grade of plywood, we construct a timber frame, to hold the timber boards that will line the container. Behind these boards we pack in 100mm rockwool, to insulate. Once everything is in place, we seal the edges with beading.

Melamine

For melamine lining, again we create a timber frame to hold the melamine panels and pack in the rockwool insulation. These panels are easy to wipe clean and conform to food preparation hygiene standards. We use plastic coving for the skirting and joins.
